A brand new electrical bike has been launched based mostly on the Zero SR/F from Italian designers E-Racer.
E-Racer’s newest creation takes the Zero SR/F and combines its electrical base with styling impressed by Ducati’s Monster vary.
The result’s the E-Racer Bestial-e, and it’s the fourth version of the E-Racer design led by Aldo De Giovanni since its inaugural design in 2019.
The most recent model of the Bestial-e brings an all-new LED headlight to the bike, which itself incorporates a streamlines design and two aspect spoilers.
Moreover, the ‘tank’ is made extra compact on the 2023 model of the Bestial-e, whereas the seat is handmade and the tail unit is full-carbon.
As for the technical particulars, the brakes are sourced from Brembo’s Stylema vary, and the rear monoshock is from Umbria Kinetics’ AirTender model.
AirTender’s web site reads: “AirTender substitutes the unique spring with a stiffer and shorter one that’s mixed with an air system. This permits on the identical time extra management and stability when driving in addition to extra softness on tough highway surfaces.”
One other innovation of the 2023 Bestial-e is the ‘Audio-Forceback’ system, or E-RAF. This can be a security system which E-Racer has developed with sound engineers, and specialists in and programmers of audio techniques which recreates a sound created by the electromagnetic discipline of the bike’s electrical motor. “On this method,” E-Racer says, “the driving force ‘perceives’ the efficiency of the engine. […] [Also, other road users, pedestrians and motorists, can easily hear the approaching motorcycle.”
While electric vehicles’ benefits include their lack of noise, this can also be a negative point – from an enjoyment perspective, but also a safety perspective. E-Racer’s development seeks to correct the second point.
